Look son. It's a $4billion 1 GWatt capacitor!

This is cool. If you boil down electronics, there are some basics one should never forget. and This guy, Darren Ashby wrote about it in Electrical Engineering 101.

With wind and solar energy being intermittent, there is a need for storage. And this project creates one of the largest ones on the planet.

Life is an experiment: Fish oil linked to increased risk of colon cancer in mice

With news like this is seems we're all subjects to a grand experiment. I guess from space, evolution looks like an experiment. Some make it. Some don't.

"Whenever a machine can replace a teacher, we should." Arthur C. Clarke

Hello again. The quote above comes the the video below. Not to knock teachers. We need teachers. And Grandmothers can be teachers as you'll learn.

It's a TED talk. They guys ambition is to experiment and prove that kids can and do learn on their own where there is interest. This video contains many examples of his work. Great stuff.  What struck me is that it's the group dynamic that really makes a difference. Four kids in a group learn better than a single kid at a computer. Think about your classroom computer labs!

Watch this and learn. But invite three friends to watch with you.
